THE BEAUTY AMONG PAIN STORY

Beauty Among Pain was founded by Chelsey Marie in September 2023 while she was in the hospital beginning her journey with Endometriosis. Inspired to make a difference, Chelsey envisioned a platform to support people with chronic illnesses, reminding them that everything will be okay. Joined by her friends Clara and Chantelle, who co-own the initiative, they expanded the mission to raise awareness and funds for a wide range of causes and conditions.

Our goal at Beauty Among Pain is to educate the public about various conditions, such as Endometriosis, Alzheimer's, Mental Health, and more, while eliminating stigma and misunderstanding. We aim to inspire hope and courage, reminding everyone that they are strong and loved. Our message is clear: "You are strong, you are loved. Keep your head up high, don't give up on yourself, keep fighting and most importantly, keep loving yourself. Don't give up, no matter how difficult everything may seem right now or how difficult it may get."

Through our efforts, we strive to make a significant impact and foster a more understanding and compassionate world. We believe that by sharing stories and raising awareness, we can create a supportive community for those facing various challenges. We organize fundraisers, awareness campaigns, and educational events to spread our message and provide resources for those in need.

INSPIRATION BEHIND THE LOGO

There is quite a deep meaning behind the design we chose and why we chose it. Chelsey went through something tough a while ago and remembers seeing this gorgeous design of a rose dagger on social media. She decided to do a little bit of research on the meaning of the rose dagger and this is what she found: "The rose and dagger tattoo can symbolize the duality of human life through the seemingly opposite meanings of the two images combined in this design: the rose stands for beauty, love, friendship, and vitality, whereas the dagger signifies death, betrayal, destruction, and insidiousness as well as pain."

This symbol helped Chelsey get through those tough times and still does. It's a reminder of what she went through and proof that she got through it and is getting through the struggles of having Endometriosis along with her mental health. Like the definition says, the rose stands for beauty and the dagger represents pain. We chose the rose dagger symbol to represent the "Beauty Among Pain" brand and its meaning because that's exactly what the rose dagger stands for and shows. There will always be beauty among the pain, and we want to use this brand and symbol to show people that. To help them see past the pain and show them that there is beauty in the situation and the pain.

We want this brand to inspire people, help people, and raise more awareness for all of these chronic illnesses as most of them aren't spoken about enough and very few people know about them or know very little about them. It's the perfect symbol to represent the pain that people have with their chronic illnesses, but adding a rose to the dagger shows that there is beauty among all of that pain they are going through. Even though it's tough, they'll get through it. It's a reminder that no matter what you're going through and no matter how tough, beauty will always be among the pain!
